RECRUITMENT DAY AT FFD

3/09/2007- The Fayetteville Fire Department will host a Recruitment Day, Sunday April 22, 2007. The fire station will be open to the public from 1300-1600 that day. Displays and demonstrations highlighting the services provided by the Fayetteville Fire and EMS members will be featured. Information regarding the types of volunteer memberships will be provided as well as refreshments and tours. If you are interested in volunteering please send an e-mail to recruitment@fayettevillefd.com. Fire and/or EMS as well as administrative members are needed.

1) Informational Displays
Fire - gear layout with SCBA masks
EMS - blood pressure station, equipment display, etc.
Administrative - list of positions available
Fire Police - display of equipment
Child car seat safety inpections
Dive Team - gear & equipment
Power point slide show of FFD
Refreshments - hosted by FFD Auxiliary

2) Demos/Events
Smoke alarm demo
Stove Fires
Charged hose lay
Auto Extraction - 3pm
Rides on Fire & EMS equipment - pending
