Fayetteville Fire and EMS is hosting an EMS Open house on Tuesday, May 22nd
from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM at 425 E. Genesee Street, Fayetteville, NY in
recognition of national EMS week.

National Emergency Medical Services Week brings together local communities
and medical personnel to publicize safety and honor the dedication of those
who provide the day-to-day lifesaving services of medicine's "front line."
Fayetteville Fire and EMS has performed over 1000 medical calls this year
and is expected to perform over 3000 for the year. The newly renovated
station is manned 24/7 by volunteer and career Certified First Responders,
Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics and has a physician medical
director.

Emergency medicine items such as ambulances, first aid supplies, newest
technology medical diagnostic equipment and training props will be on
display.

Emergency medical providers will be on hand to answer questions from the
public.

Station tours will be given. There will be home preparedness display that
includes fire extinguisher and first aid kit sales. Vital sign checks
will be given free of charge. Visitors will be able to sign up for a free
CPR class to be held at a later date

Light refreshments will be served.
