In the midst of shift change Fayetteville was alerted for a residential fire at 5499 North Manlius Road.  Within three minutes Engine 7 was on the scene confirming a working fire and went to work pulling the first line.  Confining the fire to the room of origin Engine 7 put a strong hit on the fire and began horizontal ventilation.  Fayetteville was assisted on the scene by Manlius, Kirkville, Minoa, Dewitt, and East Syracuse.  Lyncourt and Jamesville had apparatus stand-by at Fayetteville's station.  Manlius Car 1, Chief Whorrall held the command.
