As the A-Shift was settling in for the evening, multiple ambulance calls were received. As crews began responding, Pompey Hill, who had been sent to 7869 No.4 Road West on a possible chimney problem, upgraded their alarm to a full structural response. 20E5 was put on the call at 1803hrs as the FAST Team and responded with a crew of 5. 20C2 also responded. Crews arrived to find a chimney fire with extension into Divisions 1 and 2 with heavy fire on Division 2. Engine 5 performed FAST duties as well as performed laddering and ventilation duties. Crew members also assisted in opening up to check for extension. The structure was an 1800's era building that had served as a 1 room schoolhouse. Manlius E-1 had the attack line with their Truck 2 opening the roof. Fayetteville units returned to service at 2005hrs. Pompey Hill Car-1 had the command.
